For me:
48/2(9+3) = 2 though i would want it to be 288
And
48/2 (9+3) = 288
I always hate it when professors leave out the parenthesis for trigonometry.

Sounds like someone wants an iMac Ultra! (Really final Propaganda)
All for under AU$4 Grand.
Yay! I'll take one the minute it comes out! How much is one AU$ in €? Let's see... AU$4000 is about €2400. Sounds reasonable to me. But I'm all for stretching it a bit. Let's say €2100/AU$3530. That's €400 more expensive than the current top model, which is €400 more expensive than the low-end iMac. Seems logical to me, maybe not so reasonable, but reason is soooo overrated these days! :D
Anyone else here interested in an iMac Ultra?
Anyone else have an extreme and probably unwarrented hatred of the Pentium moniker?
Yes! (And yes to c.q. about that Pentium name, too, by the way.)

In the meanwhile, the villain...
so is the turn of the villain simultaneous to the heroes (meaning he can communicate/implement his moves at any time) or do turns alternate (and if they do, do they in singles or in pairs)?
what's the point of having 'rounds'?
is there a time-limit to the villain's decision before it defaults in no-action, 1 point accrued?
(i know i am a pain, but i want the rules to be clear)

I'd pay a premium for products manufactured in the US.
Products might be more expensive, but there would be more Americans employed. As much are there is a downside to producing here, there is also an upside.
All the companies competing with Apple would have to do the same, otherwise Apple could never come even close to competitors' prices.
There is nothing wrong with companies using resources abroad. It's called specialization. Why produce something for more money and less efficiently when it can be done better and cheaper elsewhere?

This seems like an inevitable move in the convergence of iOS devices and Mac computers. They will eventually be the same thing. Powerful, robust, thin, power efficient, easy to use touch interface.
I don't think Macs will move to ARM.
I do think we'll see MUCH more convergence of iOS 5 and OSX Lion than people are expecting - the 2 OSes will truly be released as "partner" OSes.
Perhaps we'll see an iOS laptop - an iPad with a keyboard basically. Perhaps Macs will run iPad apps alongside dashboard apps. Certainly macs will add touch screens as soon as touch screens don't cost too much extra.
Apple will certainly be keeping their options open.

So then when will the iphone 6 come out? June 2012 or September 2012 or a completely different month?
I don't know if I should buy an iPhone 4 now, wait and buy the iPhone 5, or wait a long time and buy the iPhone 6 in hopes that it's a major refresh.

And go through the whole ARM-native app vs. Rosetta mk. II emulation thing again, with transitional machines that never live up to their full potential? Unless ARM can compete with the resources of Intel and their 3D 22nm chip fab technologies, I think it'll be a rough transition giving us several years worth of under-performing Mac hardware.
Can't see using an ARM processor for Final Cut Pro by 2014.

I was about to say, "What?! And lose the Windows compatibility they bragged on so much with the Intel transition? You're kidding me!", then I remembered that Windows 8 is also rumored (confirmed?) to run on ARM.
Yes, Windows 8 will have ARM support (http://windows8news.com/2011/01/05/windows-8-arm-press-release-microsoft/).
I don't buy this rumor, though. It's too crazy.
And Apple would never do anything crazy?
Think different.

plus with Core 2 chips being more expensive than Yonah...
T2600 (Yonah @ 2.16GHz) currently goes for $423 (trays of 1000)
T2500 (Yonah @ 2.00GHz) currently goes for $294 (trays of 1000)
T2400 (Yonah @ 1.83GHz) currently goes for $241 (trays of 1000)
T7600 (Merom @ 2.33GHz) is reported to go for $637 (trays of 1000)
T7400 (Merom @ 2.16GHz) is reported to go for $423 (trays of 1000)
T7200 (Merom @ 2.00GHz) is reported to go for $294 (trays of 1000)
...in other words it looks like the Yonah is either being replaced whole sale or is going to see further price drops when the Merom comes out. Of course I am still not 100% convinced the reported pricing for Merom is correct.

Yes, didnt you know?
Every country outside the US lives in poverty, where families must raise 17 children to send them out to work, and must fight to the death over food.
Oh, I had forgotten about all that. Thanks!

I still don't get the outrage of many people. From all the 'tracking issues' out there, this is the one to worry the least about since it is only on your device and is not send to anyone.
If you really worry about anyone knowing where you are or have been, there are better 'targets' to go after, some where information is really send and analyzed by people 'out of your control'.

As the promo in the UK ends on the 7th October, does that mean I won't see them filter through until then?
It's a shame if it is.
Why do some end in September and others in October?
http://www.apple.com/uk/backtoschool/?cid=WWW-EUUK-BTS20060801-8EBFY
"* Buy a qualifying Mac and an iPod from the online Apple Store or an Apple retail store purchase must be made between August 1st and October 7th and receive a mail-in rebate up to 100 (UK) / 160 (Ireland). Terms and Conditions apply. "
I need one so soon!
The promo has nothing to do with new launches...they are completely independent and serve a public that is not interested nor in need of a cutting-edge notebook. The combo MB x iPod is wonderful for most, and it will be attractive even if the Merom notes are in the market.

Is that why you bought the iPad? One would think if you have an iPad, you'd already see the error in judgement that you made there. Just because Apple stuff looks cool doesn't mean it's sacrificing function - to the contrary.
If you've used an iPhone, or iPad, for any period of time you'd know that.
Other computer makers put wavy lines, green blinking lights and all sorts of other kitsch on their machines - by kitsch I mean design features that have no function, that are there only to look "good".
When has Apple made a device that didn't work very well??? You'd have to go all the way to the Newton for that. And that happened while Steve Jobs was away, not a co-incidence. Ever since the iPod, it's been hit after hit.
Well, I think the previous commenter's point has some validity. A great example of this "form over function" is the iMac. Mobile graphics (and poor ones at that), horrendous thermal management, limited stand orientation...but one damn fine looking computer:D Dont get me wrong, Apple does amazing things with their products. (Im obviously a fan :D) But I do think design is paramount to their efforts (not that function ever takes backseat, it just can be slightly lessoned on some releases). Now, IMO...they knocked both form and function out of the park with the iPad 2, iPhone 4, and 2010 MBA. Bravo

The next comsumer show is Paris in September. That's where we're likely to see the ipods and other goodies.

holy smokes these games are intimidating to play....
here I am thinking the basic werewolves games were hard lol
Weve never had a game like this before, so you shouldnt let this put you off.
if we explore is that our move and then the villain makes his? Or if we pick a door would this be a way to avoid the villains traps, since he may have put one in the room were in?
